Rights Con 2023 Lighting Talk: We were honored to participate in Rights Con 2023, where we delivered a captivating Lighting Talk on the crucial themes of abortion and privacy, drawing attention to the rights and privacy concerns surrounding this sensitive topic.

United Nations CSW 67

We are absolutely thrilled and overjoyed to have had the honor and privilege of hosting one of the parallel events at the United Nations CSW 67, in collaboration with our esteemed and valued partners, WGNRR and FosFeminista. Together, we came with a singular purpose – to shine a spotlight on the remarkable and inspiring stories of women, in order to promote and advocate for gender equality. We also sought to convey the incredible power that music holds within the realm of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) movement building. During the event, we proudly presented and performed our deeply meaningful and impactful safe abortion song from Bihar, titled “Pinky Karein Sawaal”. It was a tremendous opportunity that allowed us to connect with numerous like-minded individuals and organizations hailing from every corner of the globe. Together, we shared a common vision and worked tirelessly towards the shared goal of achieving true gender equality. In doing so, we were able to engender hope, foster understanding, and ignite positive change on a global scale.

Women Deliver 2023

In a remarkable shift to adapt to changing times, we participated in Women Deliver 2023 virtually, joined by esteemed partners Resurj, Partners for Law in Development, EVA- Nigeria, and the Government of Catalunya – Women’s Council. Together, we delved into the crucial topic of justice and community building, exploring innovative approaches that advocate for alternatives to criminalization and punitive measures. By engaging in constructive dialogue and fostering cooperation, we aim to create a more inclusive and empathetic society where everyone’s voices are heard, and human rights are upheld. This empowering experience has left us inspired to continue advocating for transformative change and greater equality on a global scale.
